Juicing in under 5 minutes!



Eating healthy really doesn't have to be that hard!

Every morning I make a healthy juice to take with me to work- we are a country constantly on the move. I've noticed that many of my patients stress over recipes or not knowing what to do. Below are my simple tips to properly get you juicing and out the door in no time!

Start to Clean Up: UNDER 5 MINUTES!!!

Tips: 1. Sometimes we need to eat to live and not live to eat. Do not stress over following a recipe. Try random ingredients or use up what you can find in the kitchen and head off to work. 2. ALWAYS have far more veggies than fruit mixed in. 3. Make sure to add a healthy fat into the mix. 4. Do not forget to add in protein in any form you choose, many times I use nut butters or protein powder. 5. Once you break down the skin of your fruits and veggies with the blender, you are losing one very important thing- FIBER! Add it back in with flax or chia seeds!

Makes 4 servings

3 cups kale

1 cup frozen mixed berries

1/2 lemon, squeezed

1/2 of an avocado

1/2 cup frozen beets

1 medium apple

2 scoops pea protein

2 tbsp chia seeds

Ginger- add to taste

Add water

BLEND and DRINK!
